G. HERB SHEHEANE

Legislative & Governmental Affairs

Herb is a consultant and has been associated with the firm since January of 2001. He retired from AT&T after 32 years of service, which included many different assignments and responsibilities over the years. At retirement, Herb was Vice President of Governmental Affairs for AT&T in Florida. His responsibilities included all phases of government relations' representation for Florida. Herb offers knowledge and expertise in issue management at the local, state, and federal levels.

Prior to relocating to Florida in 1988, Herb served as the Assistant Vice President-Governmental Affairs for AT&T in Atlanta, Georgia. While in Georgia, he served on the Business Council of Georgia and Chairman of the Georgia Council of Vocational Education. He also served as Chairman of the Kidney Foundation of Georgia.

Over the past 18 years in Florida, Herb has worked to represent business interest in the legislature and community organizations in Florida. Herb is well respected by the legislative leadership and business leaders in Florida. While in Florida, Herb has served on the Board of Directors of the Florida Chamber of Commerce, Florida Tax Watch and is a past Chairman of the Community in Schools (CIS) organization. He has also served as the President of the Florida Telecommunications Industry Association.

Herb is a graduate of the leadership Florida Program (Class X) and also served on the Board of Directors for many years.
