James R. "Jim" Daughton, Jr.

Jim Daughton is a shareholder who has over 15 years of governmental experience. Jim’s practice includes legislative affairs and administrative rulemaking with an emphasis on financial services, technology and healthcare. Throughout the course of his professional career Jim has represented Fortune 500 companies, Florida-based businesses and professional associations.
Jim serves on the Board of Directors of the Florida Chamber of Commerce and chairs the Florida Chamber’s Free Enterprise PAC. He serves on the Advisory Board of the Florida Political Institute, and volunteers on the Florida Domestic Abuse Hotline.
Jim graduated, with high honors, from the Florida State University College of Law. He earned his B.A. in political science in 1989 from Stetson University. Jim was the recipient of the William Amory Underhill Award given to the student most likely to have a positive impact on government.
