Prior to joining private practice, Monesia served as the Director of the Florida Agency for Workforce Innovation, worked for the Florida Department of Legal Affairs as Director of Legislative Affairs, Special Counsel and Chief Cabinet Aide, served as general counsel to the Department of Management Services and Assistant General Counsel at the Department of Business & Professional Regulation. Monesia is also very involved in her community where she serves on the Economic Development Council of Tallahassee/Leon County.
