GEOFFREY BECKER

Legislative & Governmental Affairs

In June 2004, Geoffrey Becker as joined the Firm as a Senior Policy Advisor. Geoffrey has held a variety of political, public affairs and governmental positions while living in Florida and Washington D.C.

Prior to joining the Firm, Geoffrey served as the Executive Director for Political Affairs for the Republican Party of Florida. He also served in Governor Bush’s administration as the Deputy Secretary for the Department of Business and Professional Regulation. In 2000, Geoffrey was appointed by House Speaker Tom Feeney and House Majority Leader Mike Fasano as staff director for the House Majority Office.

During his tenure in Washington, Geoffrey worked in several Capitol Hill offices and was also a senior advisor to the U.S. Secretary of the Interior during in the first Bush Administration. In the mid 1990’s, Geoffrey joined The Tarrance Group a highly respected national market research firm. Geoffrey was a vice president with the firm and worked on many political and public affairs campaigns for nearly five years.

Geoffrey is a native Floridian and grew up in Belleair. He is a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in Political Science and a master’s degree from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
